Marine Rope Series
Marine polyester-propylene hybrid rope
Polyester fiber has a high breaking strength (4-7 cN/dtex), providing reliable load-bearing capacity for cables. Polypropylene has a low density (0.90-0.91 g/cm³). When blended, the cables achieve a breaking strength of 20-80 kN, meeting the needs of small and medium-sized operations. Polyester offers excellent abrasion resistance, a smooth fiber surface, and strong resistance to tensile deformation. Polypropylene offers outstanding resistance to acids, alkalis, and UV aging. The blended cable performs reliably in environments such as sand and gravel friction, seawater immersion, and outdoor exposure. Its wear rate is 40% lower than that of pure polypropylene cables, and its service life in salt spray environments is over 80% of that of pure polyester cables, making it suitable for operations in complex outdoor environments. This product is meticulously crafted, machine-woven from carefully selected polyester, offering corrosion resistance, weathering resistance, and high load-bearing capacity. The machine-woven process, known as MACHINEWEAVING, ensures durability and strength, resulting in a uniform strand, excellent gloss, and meticulous workmanship. Made from multiple strands twisted and glued together, it boasts a high density, uniform load distribution, and enhanced tensile strength.
This product is made from polyester fiber (Dacron) and polyolefin (polypropylene/polyethylene) mixed and woven in a scientific ratio using a new process, perfectly combining these three materials. It features good abrasion resistance, high strength, resistance to seawater corrosion, antistatic properties, and excellent
water drainage, and is known as "floating nylon.” It is a product with an especially high cost-performance ratio, replacing traditional nylon ropes, is lightweight, and has a long service life.
Complies with both ISO10556 and OCIMF MEG4 requirements.
